View ProfileHow to get better at Physics
Physics becomes clearer when you understand what each formula describes and practise applying it.
- 1Understand the ideas behind formulasKnow what each quantity means and its unit. It helps you choose the right formula and spot wrong answers.
- 2Follow a method for calculationsList what's given, what's asked, choose the formula, substitute with units and check the answer makes sense.
- 3Draw diagramsSketches for forces, circuits, rays and waves make problems much easier to solve.
- 4Get your maths solidRearranging formulas, indices and graphs come up constantly in Physics.
- 5Practise past questionsWork through past questions by topic, then whole papers under time.
What you can get help with
- Motion, forces and energy
- Electricity and magnetism
- Waves, light and sound
- Modern physics
- Calculations and past questions
How it works
- 1. Choose a tutor. Compare subjects, experience, reviews and prices.
- 2. Book and pay. Pick times that suit you and pay securely online.
- 3. Learn live online. Join the lesson on your phone or laptop: video, chat and a shared whiteboard.

Will online lessons use a lot of data?
