Children learn best with patience and attention, which is hard to get in a busy classroom. A tutor works with your child at their own pace on reading, numbers and whatever they find difficult.
On Ensena you choose the tutor, the times and the subjects. Lessons happen live online, and you can follow your child's lessons from a parent account.

Online lessons work well for children when the setup is simple and the tutor keeps things interactive.
- 1Choose a quiet spotA table, good light and as few distractions as possible help your child concentrate.
- 2Keep lessons short for young childrenShorter, regular lessons work better than long ones for nursery and early primary pupils.
- 3Sit in at firstJoin the first few lessons so your child feels comfortable and you can see how the tutor teaches.
- 4Tell the tutor what you've noticedShare where your child struggles and what school is covering, so lessons focus on what matters.
- 5Check progress regularlyAsk the tutor how your child is doing and what to practise between lessons.

Questions people ask
Are online lessons good for young children?
They work well when lessons are short and interactive. Tutors use the shared whiteboard, pictures and games, and many parents sit in for the first few lessons.
Can I follow my child's lessons?
Yes. Parents can book and pay for lessons and keep track of them from their own account.
How do online lessons on Ensena work?
You pick a tutor, choose a time that suits you and pay securely online. The lesson happens in Ensena's live classroom, on a phone or a laptop, with video, voice, chat and a shared whiteboard. Nothing to download.
How much does a tutor cost?
Each tutor sets their own price per hour, shown on their profile before you book, and you can filter by budget. Group classes are paid monthly, from ₦3,000 a month per student.
Will online lessons use a lot of data?
Ensena's classroom has a data saver that is on by default, and a Voice only option for when data is very low. An hour of a one-on-one lesson uses roughly 180 MB with video, or about 40 MB with Voice only. Group classes use less.
