After-school lessons help most when they're regular and focused on what your child needs.
- 1Pick a regular timeChoose times that fit the family routine, like after a short rest or at weekends.
- 2Focus on one or two subjectsConcentrate on the subjects your child finds hardest, rather than everything at once.
- 3Link lessons to schoolworkShare homework and test results with the tutor so lessons support what's being taught at school.
- 4Use holidays wellHolidays are a good time to catch up on weak topics or prepare for the next class.
- 5Review progressCheck in with the tutor every few weeks and adjust what lessons cover.
What you can get help with
- Homework help
- Weak subjects such as Mathematics or English
- Holiday lessons and revision
- Exam preparation for JSS and SS students
How it works
- 1. Choose a tutor. Compare subjects, experience, reviews and prices.
- 2. Book and pay. Pick times that suit you and pay securely online.
- 3. Learn live online. Join the lesson on your phone or laptop: video, chat and a shared whiteboard.
Questions people ask
How do online lessons on Ensena work?
You pick a tutor, choose a time that suits you and pay securely online. The lesson happens in Ensena's live classroom, on a phone or a laptop, with video, voice, chat and a shared whiteboard. Nothing to download.
How much does a tutor cost?
Each tutor sets their own price per hour, shown on their profile before you book, and you can filter by budget. Group classes are paid monthly, from ₦3,000 a month per student.
Will online lessons use a lot of data?
Ensena's classroom has a data saver that is on by default, and a Voice only option for when data is very low. An hour of a one-on-one lesson uses roughly 180 MB with video, or about 40 MB with Voice only. Group classes use less.
